Kurds are doing whatever America says, not directly objecting also Russians, but still America decides what Kurds do. And yes, America to stop Turkish Army advance, gave some parcels to Assad as a buffer zone. But Armenia and ISIS are different stories, the latter wanted to destroy oldest Armenian place in the world and i fact killed number of Armenians there. Besides, a lot Syrian Armenians died fighting ISIS… After that it seems very unlikely that Armenia can go against Syria by befriending ISIS even in local scale.

All parties have multiple agendas… If part of agenda does not overlap with others and is not problem for them, they can still work within their own interests… See for example Kurds… They work with Russians, Americans and … Assad. Assad inserted buffer zone between them and Turkey recently, when Kurds voluntarily gave a strip of territory under their control and have had no problem raising their flag at some places…
